The second photographic body in the archive. Produced between 2013 and 2020 under Schooneman’s own name, these portraits turn fully toward the individual. Identity occupies the centre of each frame. While retaining the formal discipline of the earlier photographs, the work becomes quieter, more attentive, and increasingly concerned with the singular presence of the sitter.
