Constructed Imagery II · 2026
Salt Marble presents classical male sculpture returned to the sea. Some figures lie lost beneath the ocean, worn by salt and slowly overgrown; others surface at the water's edge or rest in the half-light above it. Neither excavated nor recovered, they belong to an invented history, held between preservation and loss, permanence and erosion.
Following The Robertson Collection, these works continue Troy Schooneman's study of the male figure in marble, from torsos and heads to reclining forms. Each work is catalogued by lot number as constructed imagery and is available as a limited edition fine art print, hand-signed and numbered.
