The Robertson Collection presents imagined artefacts situated between classical sculpture, archaeology, and contemporary image-making. Abandoning the observed world in favour of an invented one, these works possess the visual authority of historical objects while remaining entirely fictional. Informed equally by historical reference and artistic invention, they occupy a space between memory, myth, and reconstruction.
