ABOUT THE WORK

The Eternal Winter captures the male body suspended between sculptural stillness and emotional unraveling. Cast in cool, marble-toned light, the subject coils inward, his posture both protective and exposed — as though caught in a moment of exquisite withdrawal. There is no confrontation here, only surrender: a vulnerability made monumental.

The pale tones and fine grain of the photograph evoke the surface of carved stone, but the softness of skin betrays something far more human — a quiet ache, a private reckoning. Like a forgotten figure from antiquity, he appears removed from time, draped only in silence and shadow. What remains is not myth, but memory: fragile, tactile, and hauntingly unresolved.
